1. Purpose


This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which WFDP Academy, accredited exclusively by the World Fund for Development and Planning (WFDP), may issue refunds for tuition fees or program payments.

WFDP Academy is committed to fairness, transparency, and accountability in all financial transactions related to its educational programs and services.


2. General Policy


All tuition fees, registration fees, and course payments made to WFDP Academy are non-refundable, except under the specific conditions described below.

By enrolling in any course, diploma, or training program, the participant acknowledges and agrees to this policy.


3. Eligible Refund Situations


Refunds may be approved under the following circumstances:


3.1. Program Cancellation by WFDP Academy

  • If a course or diploma program is cancelled by WFDP Academy before its start date, enrolled participants are entitled to a full refund of any tuition fees paid.

  • Participants may alternatively request to transfer their payment to another course of equal value.


3.2. Course Postponement or Major Schedule Change

  • If WFDP Academy postpones or significantly changes a program’s schedule and the participant cannot attend the revised session, they may request a full or partial refund.


3.3. Duplicate Payment or Administrative Error

  • If a participant accidentally makes a duplicate payment or if a billing error occurs, the Academy will issue a 100% refund of the excess amount, subject to verification.


4. Non-Refundable Situations


Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Withdrawal from a program after commencement.

  • Failure to attend classes or complete assignments.

  • Visa rejection, travel restrictions, or personal circumstances beyond WFDP Academy’s control.

  • Dismissal due to academic misconduct, violation of the Code of Conduct, or falsification of documents.

  • Changes in participant’s financial condition or personal preference.


5. Request Procedure


To request a refund, participants must:

  1. Submit a written refund request to the Academy’s Finance Department at finance@wfdp-academy.org within 14 days of the event prompting the request.

  2. Include full name, enrollment ID, payment receipt, and a detailed explanation.

  3. Allow 15–30 working days for review and processing.

  4. Approved refunds will be made through the original payment method, unless otherwise arranged.


6. Transfer and Credit Options


In place of a refund, WFDP Academy may offer:

  • Transfer to another program within the same academic period.

  • Credit balance applied toward a future course or diploma.

    This option is available upon participant request and subject to program availability.


7. Administrative Fees


In certain refund cases (excluding program cancellations), a 10% administrative processing fee may be deducted from the total refundable amount to cover transaction costs.


8. Institutional Discretion


WFDP Academy reserves the right to:

  • Review each refund request individually.

  • Make final decisions based on documentary evidence and fairness.

  • Update this policy as needed to align with WFDP financial regulations and institutional standards.
